Your job as Logistics Planning Manager

As function manager, you manage and coach the members of the logistics team in Ghent. You are also responsible for the logistics of motorcycles and power products, consulting with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the sales plan and the business objectives.

  • Managing and coaching your team.
  • Preparing and implementing local and pan-EU operation standardisation and improvement.
  • Proactively anticipating risks by considering the impact of market and business changes on logistic operations.
  • Measuring the performance cycle and taking timely action.
  • Interpreting information and data relevant to logistics operations and sharing it with the stakeholders.

 

Your strenghts

  • Your focus on results, and project management and cross-functional thinking are your greatest assets. You have the qualities of a people manager who is able to make an impact and to manage and use information effectively.
  • You combine your bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of logistics or economics, with 3 to 5 years’ management experience in logistics.
  • Knowledge of operational and logistics flows is a must.
  • You are able to travel for work.
  • You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English. A good knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.
