IT Security Officer

Your job as IT Security Officer

You will develop and apply IT security policies for our Honda offices in Europe, as well as ensure the implementation of these policies. You will work together with your colleagues to align IT security activities with our Japanese security teams and external providers.

You get energy from

• Developing and implementing an IT Security roadmap;
• Performing security audits;
• Carrying out and following up on risk assessments;
• Developing a security awareness programme;
• Analysing standards such as ISO27001, NIS and so on, and formulating recommendations based on your findings;
• Supporting, motivating and coaching the IT staff on security policy.

Your strenghts

• You excel at solving problems, communicating effectively and handling stress. You enjoy working in a team and care about quality and service.
• You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or related fields.
• You have at least 5 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in an international setting. You are prepared to travel several times a year, particularly to the UK.
• You are well-versed in IT security technologies (Internet security, IDS/IPS, IT networks, data loss prevention and so on. Ideally, you have an IT security certificate (such as CISMP).
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.
