Your job as Business Controller IT

You manage the pan-European IT budgets in ISD (Information System Department) in Gent, that delivers IT services to all EMEA Honda companies (e.g. Honda Motor Europe Logistics), business partners and dealerships.

You get energy from:

  • Preparing and set-up the mid-term and annual IT budgets for all pan-European IT activities (e.g.projects);
  • Analysing the pan-European IT budgets & results;
  • Drawing up budgets for next fiscal years based on trend analysis;
  • Invoicing the European entities for the delivered IT services to them;
  • Processing monthly the IT costs and performing month end processing activities;
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date record of all operational costs & expenses in a matrix, based on an entire pan-European application portfolio;
  • Following-up the pan-European IT assets;
  • Creating purchase orders, checking and approving invoices to ensure procurement governance is followed;
  • Drawing up monthly reports according to the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Action) method.

Your assets

  • You are very analytical and know how to manage budgets like no one else.
  • You can set and monitor priorities & objectives autonomously.
  • Dealing with strict deadlines is no problem for you because of your stress resistance.
  • Communicating to both technical and non-technical profiles does not scare you.
  • You know how to handle confidential information.
  • You have completed a higher economic education and/or have relevant experience in a financial environment. A background in IT is an added value.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with Access is a strong advantage.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English (e.g.reporting to UK). A good knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
